Second stop for this series, Cafe Maceo Maceo! This is my second favorite place to eat after Horibata!
This place is much cheaper than Horibata but I guarantee you, the food here is incredible.
It is located at:
Bonifacio Street cor rizal st
For people who doesn’t know much about the streets in Lucena but aware of the landmarks nearby, this is opposite of Nail Pad, a street opposite from the building of Don Jaime, Open Tavern and Orange Salon.
So, the food prices here range from Php 99-160 per meal. They also serve it for a family size. They have pork, beef, chicken and seafood in their menu so you won’t have limited choices. They also have desserts, salads, pizza, sandwiches, burgers, pasta and coffee too!
I recommend trying their Beef Pares if you are craving for something umami. They have Paella, and I must say, it’s the best Paella I’ve tasted so far! Kamikazee Chops is their version of pork cutlets served with vegetables. They also have spicy dishes in their menu and you get to choose the level of spiciness. Highest would be level 5. If you’re feeling cold since it the rainy weather season, you can try their CMM Ramen amd CMM Lomi.
For desserts, they have Panchokie, a pancake layered with cookies and chocolate topped with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream, hence Panchokie(Pancake, chocolate, cookies! This is great for people with sweet tooth out there.
For their drinks, my favorite is their Lemonada Con Gulaman! It’s a lemonade juice with black gulaman and lychee.
So that’s it for now. Tune in for the 3rd part of this series!
